Advocacy. Awareness. Acceptance. Inclusion.

  • Autism is a neurological and developmental disorder that affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave.

  • It is a spectrum disorder which means autistic people will experience the different traits to varying degrees.

  • It is a lifelong condition and has no cure. However, with the right therapies, accommodations and support, autistic people can thrive and live full lives.

  • Acceptance and inclusion are essential to ensuring autistic people can exist in the world without prejudice.

What We’re About

Like many other parents I have encountered on my journey, I knew nothing about autism until I started to suspect that there was more to my son’s speech and language delay.

From navigating the medical system to get a diagnosis and support, applying for an EHCP and trying to decide what educational setting would be best for him, it has been quite a journey…and we’re only just getting started!

We are determined as a family to create a fun and nurturing environment where he feels safe, supported and unconditionally loved.

But we can’t keep him locked up within the walls of our home.

On my journey of understanding the world from his perspective, it is my hope that in sharing our learnings and experiences, the world will better understand and embrace my son and others like him, fostering the inclusion that every human being deserves.
